Hey guys…. better watch out of for Anja van Loon. This ambitious lady and her Team De Rooy Iveco Truck might just go for the win in the next Morocco Desert Challenge!
In April Anja van Loon, wife of FIA priority racer Erik Van Loon, will follow in the footsteps of her brothers Ben and Jan van de Laar and father, Dakar legend Fried van de Laar, who passed away much too soon.
Anja has already achieved nice results in the SSV category. In the past Dakar rally, she finished 14th in the T3 class. Now the time had come to switch to the truck classification.
In recent years, Anja has driven as many rallies as possible. In 2022, she drove more than ten rallies from Tunisia to Saudi Arabia. In doing so, she received a lot of support from Erik, her partner, and his team to make this dream come true. So you can be sure that she will be well prepared at the start of the MDC.
